I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist who works with couples and individuals facing a wide range of relational and emotional challenges. With many years of clinical practice, I served as a senior visiting clinician, assessor and personal tutor for trainees at Tavistock Relationships in London, a renowned international centre for couples therapy training and research. I am a visiting speaker at St. Mary’s University in Twickenham and an associate at The Practice in East Molesey.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Tavistock Relationships Association for Psychotherapists and Counsellors (TRAPC) and I adhere to their professional code and ethical guidelines.
I have further developed my specialism by undertaking further training in Mentalisation-Based Therapy for Couple Therapy at Tavistock Relationships. This specific training, known as MBT-CT, is a form of psychotherapy for those who find that their arguments can get very stormy and heated. MBT-CT for couples therapy can help couples to understand their emotional responses better by focusing on their partner’s feelings as well as their own.
I have also trained in a specialist intervention for couples considering separation or divorce.
I hold a full advanced DBS check and I am registered with Cigna Healthcare.
